My 18th year began…back at school…back to the grind…back to schedule.
This year, a new room. A new schedule, new windows. A new set of worries, a new batch of emails. New, new, new.
What’s not new are my thoughts. The thoughts that tell me I’m not good enough…the thoughts that tell me my opinion doesn’t matter…the thoughts that tell me I’m not doing my best.
While I have those thoughts, I have thoughts that tell me I’m the best at what I do…the thoughts that tell me I’m doing what’s best for my students…the thoughts that tell me I’m supporting my students and teachers.
I have to admit that the negative thoughts sometimes out way the positive thoughts. It’s all about my mindset…it’s my choice daily, minute by minute sometimes as well.
